As a Southerner by birth and breeding, I feel led to correct one tiny
little grammatical error in your post.
 
"Y'all" is only plural to yankees who don't know any better (or
California TV producers).  "You" (or "yuh") is still singular down
here (as in "Yuh need to see this sweet little weezil baby.")
 
"Y'all" is plural (as in "Y'all need to see this sweet little weezil
baby.")  It is, of course, a contraction for "yuh all".
 
"All ya'll" is MORE plural (as in "All y'all need to see this sweet
little weezil baby.") It's used for emphasis or when there are just
a whole bunch of people around.  There are times when more plural is
useful. :)
 
Hate for y'all to have problems with translation while you're there.
