Can a veterinarian tell me if Uma, my ferret that we had to have put
down today, could have contracted the flu from me if I had a flu shot
last week?  She had no flu symptoms, but after reading about bacterial
pneumonia in ferrets, it appears that it can follow the flu as a
secondary infection.  After I got my shot I did have a headache and felt
semi-achy for a few hours.  I just wonder if I would have been contagious
to my fuzzies at that time.
