Hello,

I just wanted to respond to Jennifer's question about why we oppose the
sale of the ferret pelt. I know I can't speak for everyone but I for one
found it as disturbing as I would find a domesticated dog or cat pelt for
sale on E Bay (which I have yet to see and hope I never do). I don't
belong to PETA or anything, nor do I think you should have to to oppose
something like that, I just have a problem with killing an animal (any
animal) that you don't plan on eating (ex. for fur, ivory, etc). I
really tend to prefer the Native American's outlook on animals...that
they are all sacred and they didn't waste any of the animal they used all
of it. I also don't think that selling a stuffed "pet" is the same thing
as selling a hopefully non-pet pelt because chances are that they didn't
kill the pet specifically to stuff it. Hope I'm making sense, the cold
medicine is beginning to get to me lol.
