To Charles Younger:

I don't really think there's a correlation between color and nippers. I
have quite a few silvers and none of them are biters. In fact, my very
first silvermitt was the sweetest, gentlest, most lovable ferret one could
ever own.

OTOH, I have 2 sables approaching 5 yrs now, and they are just starting to
be trustworthy with me - but I can't trust them around other people.

I think genetics and good breeding have alot to do with temperament, and
I've heard that cinnamons are more docile than other ferrets (my Duss-T is
one of the sweetest ferrets anybody could ever have), but overall, I don't
think silvermitts bite anymore than any other color.
