**The advice dispensed by myself in reference to FML postings is not meant
to supplant the advice of veterinarians who are in charge of the patient.
If the patient is not currently under the care of a veterinarian, the client
is recommended to take their ferret to one.**

Yes there is a federally approved rabies vaccine called Imrab3 by Rhone
Merieux. On the State level, most States follow the federal approval
process but there might be some exceptions.

As for optional or not, this is usually dictated by the State Public Health
Office and the State Agricultural (or equivalent) Office. If it is not
required by law, then it is optional for the pet owner.

Prozyme is one of those things that some people love and swear by and others
think that it does nothing. Some dogs are greatly help by it, others are
not. I suppose the same hold true for ferrets.

Campylobacter is an organism implicated in chronic, nonspecific
gastrointestinal inflammations in dogs and humans. It is not easy to
diagnose so no one knows the full extent of the disease. As ferret
knowledge is gained, it may be a cause of diarrhea in the little guys.
