I have a suggestion for finding a missing ferret. Knock on all your
neighbors' doors. If you can take another ferret with you, since a lot
of people don't know what they are. Especially talk to kids. They're
always outside, and are a lot more likely to notice a strange animal
running around. It worked for me. When Puck got out once, the only
reason I found him is that a little girl remembered that her grandmother's
neighor found one. He was about 3 blocks away! I never would have thought
that he could go that far. I hope you find your kid.
