Hey all, I haven't posted in a while, but I have aquired a problem.  My
beautiful fuzzbutt Dink, a 3 year old female, has become very bloated
in the past 3 days.  It's not just a little bloating, her stomache has
literally doubled in size.  Now, the girl who gave my babies to me, said
they were all spayed/nutred, and descented.  I don't know if the vet who
spayed her did it right or not, because I'm wondering if she's in heat.
How do I tell if she's in heat, or just bloated?  Also, if it matters, she
has 1 tattoo on her ear, so I'm assuming that she comes from a petstore.
Don't they have their ferrets spayed by reliable vets???
 
Please email me any information that may be helpful to me.  Please help.
 
Also, I still have 4 fuzzbutts up for adoption, in Springfield, Illinois.
