I have three ferrets (Taz, Chocolate, and Sable) and a four year daughter
and I love them all dearly.  My problem is that my human daughter has the
chicken pox and I want to know if my ferrets can get them.  I have enjoyed
reading the FML for the past month.  If anybody would like to e-mail me for
ferret stories I would really enjoy it.  I have been a ferret mommy for
about a year now.  I also wanted to know if the flea control, Program, can
be used for ferrets too.  My albino ferret, Taz, gets fleas really bad and
all I can think of doing for him is give him a bath with ferret shampoo and
pick the fleas out one by one.  This can get irratating for both me and Taz
(he is very patient and just lays there-he is probably so relieved that the
fleas are getting off of him that he doesn't care what I do).  Say hello to
all the cute little fuzzies out there and I hope they are enjoying the
wonderful spring weather.
