to everyone who participated in rescuing the wolfsville ferrets,
arranging the rescue and the rescuing, i commend you!  you rock!
 
somehow the cruelty and stupidity of animal abusers never ceases to amaze
me, although by now it shouldn't surprise me at all.  i saw the pictures,
and while i felt like i would cry, i simply grew angrier and angrier.
angry that a woman would ship her ferrets to a shack in a backyard in
another county just to keep them from good homes, where another woman
"cares" for them by letting them live in piles of maggots.  and the nerve
of that woman to keep her "favorites"!
 
is there any way that, with the photo documentation you have, you can
contact animal control in that county?  you're all smart gals, so you're
probably already 3 steps ahead of me on this :).  can anything at all be
done to get the last 8 out?  are there more we just don't know about?
 
this whole situation is just insane.  i'll spare you all the expletives
i'm yelling out loud.

perseverance and love for the fuzzies.
