My ferretgirly does this too.  Often when I put a water bowl in front of
her, she will either tip it or play with it until some water spills out,
and then drink from the spilt water on the floor.  Her other method, if
the bowl's really big, is to get down low to the ground and dig under it
until it spills.  All this work just to have it her way!  I was wondering
if anyone knows why our ferrets like to drink water from the floor.
