>Just out of curiosity, does anyone know "where" Marshall Farm is located?...

While I really can't answer many of the other MF questions you had in your
post, I can tell you where Marshall Farms is located. It is here in Western
New York. I do believe that they are head-quartered in a town called
Wolcott. To find Wolcott on a NY map, look south of Lake Ontario and east
of Rochester. Wolcott's not a huge place by any means so look on a good NY
map if you want to find it.

From what I understand, MF is one of the largest ferret farms around and
ships all over the US/world.

Just a silly "fact" I heard not long ago was that if Western NY was a state
unto itself, that it would be the 3rd most exporting state in the US. Not
hard to imagine with "big guns" of exporting here like Kodak, Xerox, Bausch
& Lomb, plus oodles of smaller companies doing business around the world. I
have to wonder if MF ferrets were counted in that figure? ;)

-kim, squirt (hates this hot weather we are having), pippi (ditto),
atlas (That's Atlas Charles to you!), and 'Jinx (Mom! He's biting
 me again!)
