Hellebusch Park, Bridgeton, MO
From Interstate 70, take the St. Charles Rock Rd. exit #234 east
towards town to Fee Fee Rd. Turn right on Fee Fee. There is a
Walgreen's on the corner. Turn right on Oak Av. This should be
the first street you come to. Oak ends at Hellebusch Park. If you
become lost or need information call FURRY at 314-638-5756.

We will have raffles and even a silent auction. Donation of ferret
and non-ferret related items for the raffle and auction are needed,
appreciated, and are tax-deductible. We have prizes for the top 3
people who collect the most in pledges. The first 50 registrants will
receive goodie bags. There will be door prizes with the winners selected
at random from all participants and you must be present to win.

Imagine 40, 60, or even more ferrets traipsing around a small flagged
off area of a grassy park. We hold this event rain or shine. Awards
are presented to the fastest ferrets who are not pulled, dragged, or
picked-up.

Pledge forms can be picked up in the Files Section of our Yahoo Group.

190 ferrets came to us in 2003. We spent $15,000.00 on medical expenses.
That is almost $80.00 per ferret that comes in. We average 30 ferrets
at any given time. Each of those ferrets costs us close to $7.50 per
month in food and litter to the tune of $2,700.00 per year. Our rent
is currently $250.00 per month, but we have to vacate this summer.
Insurance is about $2,800.00 annually. That is where the majority of
the money goes.
