Dear FML,
With the warm weather comes the fleas.  We would like to provide our fuzzies
with the best Flea Protection available.  There are many new flea control
products on the market now and we would like to know which can be used
safely for ferrets?  Our Vet couldn't or wouldn't recommend any of the
products like "PROGRAM" or "ADVANTAGE".  We know of some ferret owners that
have been using "PROGRAM" (for small dogs) recommended by their vet.  Can
anyone tell us if using one of these new flea control products is safe for
our ferrets (we have five now)?  We don't want to use something that may
cause health problems immediately or sometime in the future.  We enjoy
reading the FML and feel that there is an abundance of ferret care knowledge
to be gained from its readers.  Please share some of it with us.
