Those of you that have the Discovery Channel may want to keep your eyes open
during their "Wild Discovery" show. Twice this week, I've seen short (but
very cute!) segments that included the Black-Footed Ferret in the wild! :)

The first one was about cats and dogs and their roots. During one scene,
it showed a wolf or a coyote (I don't know which because the sound was off
at the time and I only caught a glimpse of it) that was trying to decide if
the ferret was edible. It decided otherwise after the ferret did one of
it's War Dances! :)

The second one was last night (Wednesday) when it showed a BFF coming out of
a prairie dog hole with a prairie dog in it's mouth. It followed it into
it's burrow, where they had a light installed and they showed the ferret
bringing food to the babies. The babies were so excited that *they* started
little bitty Weasel War Dances! :) It was so cute I had to stop talking on
the phone to watch!
