Gary, maybe she just wants to know you will pick her up and put her down
when SHE wants.  Maybe just a little hug is all she wants.  Since she
doesn't like treats maybe she just wants to smell what you have had for
a treat?  Or to make sure you haven't had any strange ferrets on you.
Or just a little you time.  What ever it is you must be doing something
right cuz she keeps coming back.
