Hi. Last Friday we had to put our 8-month old ferret Poofer to sleep after
being in ICU at a local animal hospital. The vets don't know what hit her,
but she had such a high temp that she surely had suffered brain damage. She
wasn't improving, but was suffering. My boyfriend and I are heartbroken,
but worse is our male ferret, Buddy. Although he is healthy, he is
noticeably depressed, and is surely pining away for his little girlfriend
Poof. If anyone in the Boston area knows of a young (under 2 years) ferret
who needs a new home, please contact me. I kind of want a female, but if we
found the right neutered male, we'd take him. Thanks in advance. --Jenn
