In our house, hammocks are used mostly as grooming places and not for
sleeping--I think the bowl-shape of a hammock helps the ferret reach
those spots that are hard to reach when lying on level ground. Plus
my guys like to rub their heads on the support pieces.

I'm thinking though that I might as well install hammocks on all the
bottom shelves of my bookshelves--I certainly can't keep books there,
so the space might as well be utilized! :-)

"Is that my business? Well, what is my business? Do I know? Did I ever
know? Let s not go into that. You re not human tonight, Marlowe. Maybe
I never was or ever will be... Maybe we all get like this in the cold
half-lit world where always the wrong thing happens and never the right."
