Hi Ya'll,

I talk with a fair number of people who, for various reasons, don't post in
this forum. Most are way too busy. So I was told a really cute story the
other day and have permission from the human slave to retell it here. Hope
you enjoy.

Seems that a cute little black sable boy found himself in a new home, but
unfortunately, wasn't quite big enough to hold his own with the "big" boys
already residing there. So the human slave, being a good human slave,
decided to keep this little boy seperate for awhile, until he grew and
became more confident.

But the human slave was concerned that Chaos, the little sable boy, would
get lonesome. So to help out she put Frankie Ferret in with Chaos. But
wait, you say? What about the fighting? Well, Frankie Ferret is a very
peaceful soul. In fact, almost too peaceful. For you see, he is a light
sable STUFFED ferret, about 6" long.

The human slave started noticing that Frankie was often on the bottom on the
cage in the mornings, not in the hammock with Chaos. So she decided to put
Frankie in next to his pal, only to watch in amazement as Chaos got quite
upset with this state of affairs, stood up with hands on hips, explained
that Frankie was supposed to be downstairs. Chaos then took the poor little
Frankie and shoved his nose into the food bowl.

This brought on many oohs and aahs from the human slave, but she still
wasn't sure that she understood everything right. So she started moving
Frankie around everyday, only to watch Chaos take Frankie to the nearest
food bowl, make an impression in the food with his nose, and then place
Frankie's nose in the impression. It was then obvious to the human slave
that poor Frankie had been starving all along and only Chaos' intervention
saved the life of this poor fert.

Everyone is on watch, waiting to see if Chaos will show Frankie which corner
to use.

Mo' Maggie
