15 ferrets will now need homes (will be split up in groups of 2 or 3
according to who gets along best with who), because their owner died of a
sudden heart attack today.  Her friend is stopping at the house just to
check food/water, etc., and the ferrets all appear healthy and are various
ages, but the cages are dirty and the friend already has her own hands full
with her own ferrets.  The club I belong to and the neighboring shelters
are pretty much full.  If anyone wants to email me, I have the friend's
phone number.
 
They're in the Bronx/Westchester, NY area.
