Dear FML folks.

My husband and I went to visit friends last night who have 2 dogs. After
being there a while, we were told one has kennel-cough which they thought
was strange since neither dog has been in a kennel. We have a dog and 10
ferrets, of which 6 are seniors (of which one is dying-Snoopy, some may
recognize her name). Months ago, there was discussion here regarding
kennel-cough and I can't remember the outcome or consensus. Because I can't
remember, I am quite worried. I don't want to loose any before their time.
Can ferrets get it? If so, what are the symptoms (besides coughing) and
what can be done for them? If anyone can give an answer for dogs as well,
please do so privately since the dog is not a ferret (and she defininately
doesn't want to be one). I'm sorry to dredge this up again but when
something doesn't affect you at the time, although you read it and find it
interesting, it doesn't always stick. Thanks for any help with this matter.

Tryntje Miller.
