I left the TFS forum because I was supposedly "abusive" to a member.
Abusive" because I questioned someone "having" to give up their ferret
who wasn't given any reason why. It seems others on that forum - as well
as the resident "expert" who moderates it - doesn't think anyone - even
the shelter the ferret is surrendered to - the reason why. It was also
falsely stated to remaining members on the board that I was "told I could
stay" by the moderator after talking to her. This is entirely false and
that post magically disappeared after it was questioned.

My forum isn't "my own little community". It was created for Little
Dudes Ferret Ranch, the shelter I volunteer with and is there to promote
adoptions to that shelter and shelters in general. And Terri at Little
Dudes and I had been in the process of getting one going before I left
the TFS forum.

We've already got over 70 members including a lot of those who used to
frequent the TFS forum. If anyone wants to come join and see what really
IS talked about there (sorry, Marguerite, you'll get no press from us)
please feel free - http://ferretocious.hyperboards.com

PS: I'm not a trouble starter. I'm just someone who doesn't sit idly by
when she thinks an injustice is being made.

PPS: doesn't slander have to be verbal? And untrue? Hmm

[Moderator's note: Yes, slander is verbal and people misuse it, but the
point gets across quite well anyhow.

A couple of things are getting a little silly on the list lately, and
yes, my tolerance for nastiness might decrease a bit until things get
back to normal. So folks, please stick to facts, or posts may get
rejected... which I hate doing! BIG]
