Dr. Williams -
My condolences on your loss of Oscar. We're all too familair with
the pain of the loss of our loved ones. Sending lots of warm
thoughts and ferret kisses your way.

All 40 at our house have a terrible sneezing, coughing, watery eyes,
sore throat, chills, cold. I talked with Ann Davis of LIFE and Rick
White of SAFE and they both suggested childrens Triaminic cold formula
orange flavor - 1 drop for smaller ones and 2 drops for the larger ones.
I put it in a baby spoon and most lap it up but for the ones that won't
I add a drop or two of dilluted linatone. Oh, I've got it too but not
the coughing-sneezing part, but definitely exhaustion. It seems all I
do is run around medicating, cuddling, refilling pedialyte bowls (we are
currently using 1 bottle a day) and food bowls. So far appetites are
still good and everyone is drinking plenty of fluids (except for maybe
me) and stools are fine. These poor babies, I feel so bad for them.
I've been at home the last 3 days monitoring everyone and finally felt
secure enough to come back to work today. Hope this runs its course soon.

Again, condolences to all who have lost ferrets. ANd in abuse/neglect cases
please, please don't look the other way. Can you imagine the pain and
suffering, mental and physical, Boomerang and his friend suffered. By the
way how is the other one and what will happen to them now?

Hugs to all. tle
