I read in the 5/20 FML that Shannon M. was trying to find a shelter near
Langley Air Force Base or someone who lives near Langley Air Force Base
with a ferret to adopt. I don't believe that there is a shelter near
Langley, but I live very near to Langley and have a one year old champagne
(or, as Marshalls likes to call it, cinnamon) ferret that a friend
entrusted me to find a home for. I would keep him myself, but I already
have three males that are almost three years old. When they are four I
plan to switch them to Totally Ferret for Older Ferrets and then Francois
could not share the food bowl with them as he does now.

I've sent four e-mails to Shannon at [log in to unmask], the address in the
post, but I have received no reply. So, if you see this Shannon please
reply, or if someone else has a plan that I could use to keep Francois,
lay it on me because I would really love to keep the little fella. I
just can't see my boys sharing the cage as they do now.

they have a three story Quality cage where they stay when I'm not home. I
also have a smaller cage left over from my first ferret about 12 years ago
and I was thinking about moving Francois into it, but I think during the
open-door times the other fellas would come over to visit and munch on
Francois' food.
