Hi Everyone,

I took the kids in for their shots on July 24. R.J. was the only one with
a reaction this time. They were all premedicated with benadryl. R.J. is
a 3yr. old female. She started throwing up shortly after the distemper
shot. She had to have 3 steroid injections to help her stomach. We were
at the office over an hour. About 5 min. after we left we had to rush
back to the office. She started to throw up a little blood and went limp
for a few seconds(sure seemed like a lot longer)She also had a reaction
to her rabies shot 2 weeks earlier. It sure is scary when it happens.
Rascal my only male can't have a distemper shot due to a severe reaction
2 years ago. (his tongue turned blue, quit breathing etc.)

Weasel got her first lupron shot July 10. Her swelling has gone down quite
a bit. I was wondering if the vulva ever goes back to normal size or stays
slightly swelled. She has gone through 2 adrenal operations. June 98, &
Dec. 99. She is almost 4. She didn't lose any fur this time. She is
tiny; but full of energy. She is most defenately the boss! Dr. Marx is
doing a wonderful job with her. I can't believe the joy these angels have
brought into my life. I can't imagine life without them. Dooks to all the
wonderful ferret people and their fuzzy angels.

Weasel, Rascal & R.J.
