The first CFV (Call For Votes) to create an unmoderated rec.pets.ferrets
newsgroup was distributed to rec.pets and alt.pets.ferrets (among other
newsgroups) earlier this week.  The vote will be conducted over the next
few weeks.  If there are 100 more YES votes than NO votes and at least 2/3
of all votes are YES, the new group will be created.
 
If you read Usenet news, please vote.  To do so, send email using the
automated ballot and address provided in the CFV; check those newsgroups or
email me for a copy.
