I am not sure where your informaytion comes form. I believe in 1997
there was an inspection of the MF location where several housing issues
were mentioned( I have a copy on the 3rd floor somewhere in piles of old
reasearch paper) BUT That was a USDA inspection Not PETA>

In fact , I CANNOT EVER in the history of MY work with ferrets ever
noted PETA being helpful at all to the ferrets -- for any reason.

They recently just shook hands adn settled with Petco after a long
dispute. You will notice their PETNO website is gone adn any
references to it.

OPETA took issue with large birds at Petco-- but historically DID NOTHING
to numerous repoerts of underage and ailing ferret kits which continue to
be sold through the stores.

PLease do your homework before you post on this rehashed issue! PTA
is NO GOOD for ferrets!(which IMO means they are still in bed with the
breeders!)

Alicia D.
for the ferets!
