I want to express my personal condolences to you and your family..  I know I
can't express what I feel for you, but please know you have my family's
support as well as all the others who are behind you on this.
 
Out here in California, where we cannot even take our ferrets out in public
for fear of them being taken and destroyed (they are illegal to possess), we
also have no quarantine law.  That may be our next fight when and if we win
legalization this year.
 
Your little friend's martyrdom has galvanized a large amount of support for
ferret rights..  he has not died in vain.
