I w/probably post again, so going to try to keep this short. The barium
has not moved beyond Roxy's tummy, so...she is block'd :-( .. There are
2 doctors @ the veterinary hospital and apparently they are booked solid,
and Roxy w/be getting full attention after the clinic closes @ 1:00 p.m.
today, 12:30-1:00 is the time frame they gave me. Unfortunately, the Dr.
i have is learning about ferrets, and i don't want to push her buttons, i
do it enough. I haven't received a call that they have lost her, so, i
am assuming she is holding her own right now. I am going to call just
before she goes into surgery, though, and inquire. She was sick again
this morning, but she and mommy made it through the night, i didn't
sleep but maybe an hour o 2 from 5-7, so i am tired, but ...

I wanted to say something for Rune's hooman, Dave, what a COMMITTMENT! I
have been thinking of the system/society, whatever you want to call it
that we live in, and what we are teaching our children. NO COMMITTMENT!!
If it doesn't work, throw it away. Don't like it, get rid of it. No
committments in relationships, marriages, to our children, NOR our animals
it seems. How discouraging. THINK, before you make a committment, half
heartedly to an animal, that will give you companionship, when your
friends are busy, love when there is no one else around, we have children
with broken hearts, and animals just the same. Have we become so terribly
selfish, that we cannot stop and look around us, @ what we may be doing
to this world ? Rune's story let it be known to me and many others of
you, that YES, we can be committed to a lifetime, shared. It was
wonderful and heartbreaking too, that it has come time for Rune, to depart
from this world. You have been blessed with a loving relationship & now
you will have an angel to watch over you. My deepest sympathies go out
to you in this time of loss.

Respectfully
Donna, Eppers, Roxy, and the rest of the gang
