Ferret lovers will have two unique opportunities in the next few months
to meet our pets' wild cousins, the extremely endangered black- footed
ferret.

The first opportunity will be at the Derby City Forum in Louisville, KY,
April 22-23, where attendees will be given a rare behind-the- scenes tour
of the Louisville Zoo's BFF breeding facility. The Forum will be lots of
fun as well as educational, with the FML's beloved Wolfy and Alexandra
from MA giving presentations along with Gus Graves of the Zoo, and Travis
Livieri of Prairie Wildlife Research.

If you want to attend the Zoo tour, you MUST register by April 1 and
space is limited! More information and registration forms are on the
IFC web site
http://www.ferretcongress.org

The second opportunity to meet a BFF will be at the IFC Ferret Aid 2006
in Toronto, June 23-25. Travis will be bringing a live BFF to meet
everyone and giving a short presentation on these lovely animals, due to
be released in Canada for the first time this fall. IFC Ferret Aid will
also feature a ton of other wonderful speakers and fun events, as well
as all that Toronto has to offer. (I've got tickets for the Lord of the
Rings musical!)

The deadline for registration for IFC Ferret Aid is June 1. More info
and registration forms at

Don't miss these chances for a wonderful encounter!
