Hi Friends-

It's me pretty as a picture Blossom at Ferret Wise. Things are working
out pretty well here now that we have ascended to the second story! We
have lots of news....

First of all It's Kirill, over at St Gregory's house Kirill is
sleeping. That forever wonderful sleep ferrets get to when they get
too tired for playing here. While the folkses feel so sad 'specially
aunty Judy at St Gregory's house', they are sure that everything is
alright... and guess HOW they know... it might sound crazy but they
said

BEAR WAS HERE--- ( or there) Kirill had not been well for some time,
and the medicine was not working - he had BAD insulinoma. So Apache Bob
a native American Shaman, had been giving him special healing sessions
at Judy's which made him very good for a while, then he went into
another slump. Aunty Judy called Mom and she gave permission for Kirill
to go see Dr George.

Well on the way to Dr George's house Apache Bob gave Kirill full animal
rites. he was in his attire with breast plate an all. It is not real
new that the rituals have been done -- since the last Ferretstock when
we had Native American Blessings... anyway... Kirill was at peace and
ready to be released when he arrived at Dr George's.

After the ride home, Apache Bob went back to hospice Mom Judy's house.
He sat at the kitchen table nearest the door where our shelter Mom sits
when she goes there... and he looked down the hall very puzzled. They
had brought Kirill back to his buddy's could say goodby-- something the
folks here do for us all. Anyway he was startled and Judy asked him
what he saw. A ferret - a white ferret- "the largest ferret I have ever
seen" said Apache Bob. Then hospice Mom Judy had to tell him it was our
Bear FerretWise. HE visits at St Gregory's house whenever it is time
for the kids to cross. Of course he has his special place where he
rests out back complete with a stone.. He went to Kirill and also to
the friends in the cage.. and then he was gone. Momma is picking him up
on Sunday to bring back for cremation and then he will be buried along
with Sandro (his cagemate who has passed on already) not far from
Bear's resting place. The two boys Sandro & Kirilly were born only a
week apart!

Apache Bob was very surprised to see our Bear. Judy called shelter Mom
so she could hear how someone besides herself had seen Bear ... Mom
started getting really weepy but was glad that boy is big and beautiful
now in his new life. The vet here was amazed that the big boy lasted
here so long with his cancer.. she said Mom gave him an extra 2 years
over what she had thought. I guess he just wants to help the kids that
are not sure how to get over the bridge-- that is my guess. Meanwhile
back here at Ferret Wise Center-- we are doing pretty good we get out
in the day for 3 hours and now get out at 10 at night and raise cane
until 6 AM not too bad.. it gives us a chance to make some good messes
for Mama! Austin and Barn-y still don't get along the best-- Barn-y
wants to pick but Austin may go to live with JJ on Saturday if they
still like each other... that will make him a happier lad I think.

To help pay for our food, medicines,vet bills and educational mailings-
Momma has put some neat thing s on ebay this week. Special ferret tees,
Mystery Boxes of ferret stuff, mystery box of fabric, ferrety books,
ferret design mugs and lots more.

She is shill shipping bedding to some needy rescues who have older
kids-- cuz it is good to share, and the cages have shrunk to 9 here ..
and in the hospice locations most are getting smaller instead of
bigger. Mom thinks that is good for the summer time as it costs a lt
to keep running the AC !

Well I am really spoiled now I am the Belle of the Ball so to speak I
have Elric and Barn-y who of course just adore me. Destiny is running
like a wild woman most of the time-- but Mom was able to get 3 short
kisses and no piercings today on her nose! PHEW i think I might have
heard Mom holler if she got bitten again!!!

Kat's auction- my very special bridemaids dress is going to be raffled
off to help SOS! My Mom loves to do things like that-- it IS okay-- I
felt very awkward wearing it-- I was afraid I wouldn't be able to flirt
with ALL the boys!
