Just a note for those silly enough to have actually clicked on the link
to go to the site in that spoofed E-Mail.  Upon getting to that site,
unless you had a really good Anti-Virus/Firewall program, your computer
was infected with a trojan that may have opened up your computer to
hacking by the person that created the site.  They used an Active-X
Control to infect your computer the moment you arrived.
 
I would strongly recommend that you go to an on-line virus scanning site
(I find that mcafee.com is an excellent place to try) and have your
computer scanned to see if you have that trojan, if you clicked on that
link in the E-Mail.  If you have Norton, you are NOT protected against
this type of attack, in most cases.
 
For those that weren't sure if this was legitimate or not, no, it isn't
legitimate.  The fastest way you can find out, is to put your pointer on
the link (BUT DON'T CLICK ON IT!) and look at the bottom of your E-Mail
window.  Somewhere down there, you will see the actual path that link
will take you to.  Though the link itself may look legitimate, you will
see that the link shown at the bottom of your E-Mail window will show a
totally different URL.  You can also put your pointer on other links in
the E-Mail and you will see that they do, indeed, take you to e-Bay
sites.  It is only the link where you are supposed to click to "update"
your information, that takes you to a strange place.
 
Remember, the scumbag that did this, is trying to make it both look
authentic *and* make it seem as though it is urgent that you respond
immediately.  Never believe this sort of E-Mail, no matter *who* it
appears to come from.  If you have doubts, close your E-Mail program,
open your browser and go to the site, itself and find the "Contact Us"
link.  Go there and ask them directly.  Don't click on any of the links
inside the E-Mail, as you can't be sure that any place those links take
you to are real.
 
For those who may doubt my knowledge, I own a computer shop that I've run
for eleven years.  I specialize in virus and spyware removal.  In other
words, I clean up the messes that these idiots put us into.

(where you hover above a link to see where it takes you) is not reliable
as there is a vulnerability in some versions of Internet Explorer that
