Update on Miss Lily's ears (msg)

Turns out the lumps are hematomas.  The vet found ear mites this morning
and supposes that the scratching caused the hematomas.  He prescribed
medicine for both her and Patch and recommended that we just let the
hematomas heal on their own.  Which means, unless supervised, Patch must
be kept away from Lily so he doesn't bite the hematomas.
 
I've never had ear mite problems before, so I guess I just didn't know
what to expect.  I guess I just assumed their ears were dirty.
 
Well, just thought I'd let you know.
