I just recently lost a young ferret, my beloved Farley.

When I rescued him and his brother from a back yard breeding situation
through FerretAid from Randy, I thought I was very lucky.

I got to rescue 2 boys who were late neuters and had been fed a very
good diet right from the start.

I thought that I did everything right. I fed them the best food. I
provided the right number of day and dark hours, I brushed their
teeth every day. I took them to the vet right away and spent whatever
it took anytime I thought a visit was warranted.

I have heard so many stories of ferrets living long lives having been
fed crappy diets with no regard to diet never mind daylight hours nor
teeth brushing etc etc etc...

I am so very sad and miss my Farley.

I do not understand why this happened.

I have had a hard time lately with the FML.

I have not read it for quite some time. I just delete it.

People fight and are nasty nor are they supportive or responsive.

As much as I would love to respond to others who have lost ferrets,
it is very difficult to read the FML lately.

To all of you who have lost their ferrets, my heart goes out to you.

I send each and every one of you many hugs and my deepest sympathies.

If anyone has a story about their ferret who lived a long life, I would
love to hear it. You may have to send to me personally or include it in
your subject to the FML .

To my Farley , I will love you and miss you forever.

Inge
