Hi everyone,
My name is Aimee, and I have been lurking for a long time. I have two
ferrets one female silver mitt named Pandora, and a male sable named Apollo.
I just found out last week when I took them to the vet that they both are
sick. Pandora has an adrenal tumor, and Apollo has Insulinoma. I can't
believe that they are both sick. Does anyone know what kind of treatments
there are for these cancers besides surgery. Apollo is on Prelone syrup,
which the vet says he has to take for the rest of his life.

He hates it and the vet told me to give him a treat after the medicine, but
the problem is he doesn't like anything. He also has stomach ulcers, which
the medicine isn't helping. Does anyone know where I can find more
information on adrenal cancer and insulinoma, I have already read the FML
medical reports on the two. Also does anyone know of a good way of mentally
dealing with this. I've been so upset for the last week. (And so worried.)
Thank you for any help you can give me on this.
