Hello all. I am having a problem:( I would of posted this on the health
list but I am having problems with recieving the digest. So...

Would like to first give my prayers and hugs to all with lost, sick and
bridge babies......

I had posted back before Christmas of my ferret Ruby. She had an
accident and lost movement in her back legs. Since then she has
recovered.. but not 100%. She seems to not really have control of her
bowel and blatter....I say this because she never gets close to a corner
or the litter. She is at this time almost a year old. I noticed a few
weeks ago that her vulva was swollen. I made a vet appointment and
searched the archives on the subject. I told him my findings of
missed/incomplete spay and adrenal. He sent me home with amoxidrops and
it didn't do anything. I went away for a week (just got back yesterday)
I had left my ferrets with them to watch. He doesn't think its from a
missed/incomplete spay but does think it is a hormonal thing. When i got
home i looked at her and not only is her vulva swollen but underneith and
around it is swollen too. Besides the swelling everything else seems
normal. I think she is to young for adrenal and he seems to think that
she is ok...knowing that if it was a missed/incomplete spay that she
could die from it. He is a very good vet that see's all animals but I am
very concerned. Is there any kind of testing that can be done..or should
I have him do exploritory surgery? He hasn't suggested anything except
he thinks she will be ok.

Thanks for listening and any advice.
