Regarding Major Burns bump on his nose. I had (have) the same problem with
my ferret, Booda. It started off slowly and suddenly 2 weeks later was a
huge bump. My vet thought it was one of two things: sinus infection or a
tooth abscess caused by tarter. He prescribed amoxicillian .3 ml twice a
day for a week. Well, it didn't seem any better so (with my vet's
approval) I continued to give him the antibiotic for 2 full weeks. It
finally started going away, but his nose has not been quite flat since. My
vet doesn't seem too worried about it now, and Booda is acting perfectly
normal (for a ferret!) So, I continue to monitor him. I have also starting
giving him those new Pounce Treats for Tartar Control, which I can't swear
they work, but since he likes them, I figure why not try it. If anyone
else had this problem as well, I would also like to hear if it was ever
totally cured.

Thanks everyone.
