Hi, all. I just wanted to pass on some very important information to you
guys. When you take your ferret into the vet's office for his shots
(Rabies & Distemper), do not leave for at least 1/2 hour. I just got back
from the hospital where my precious Jake is recovering from a reaction to
his vaccinations. We were so lucky we didn't leave the vet's office--he
was critical in just a few minutes; he got a shot of Benadryl and oxygen,
and he's been under observation all night and will be today. If you think
that your ferret is immune, think again. Jake is 3 and has had regular
vaccinations since he came home with me at 3 months old. So, please, make
extra time and stay at the vet's office.

Love,
Steph, Sophie, Marty, and Jake
