Good News, hopefully. The Chicago Anti-Cruelty Society is willing to sit down
and discuss the philosophical differences that repotedly exist between them
and the Greater Chicago Ferret Association (GCFA). It would appear that those
differences may not even exist, but were fabricated by one or more outside
parties spreading false rumours and accusations about the GCFA and the shelter
policies. This, all in the wake of a Mike Royko column that stirred the
consciences of several Chicago Area readers (our phones have been ringing
night and day with supportive comments).
This new accord may lead the way to a positive change of status for
domestic ferrets in Illinois. Thos eof you who are in the Chicago area this
weekend (3/25-27) are invited to drop by the GCFA booth at the Chicagland Pet
Show at Arlington International Racecourse. BOOTH 307. See ya there.
