Heather and Stephan wrote of their silvermitt who partakes of his own urine.
I too had a silvermitt male who would lap it up like a cold beer on a hot
summer's day.  I could never break him of this nasty habbit and yes, it is
not a good impression on people first exposed to ferrets.  I initially
thought maybe he had diabetes and was spilling glucose into his urine but
no, he was just a little pee licker.  I loved him to death tho, and to this
day, he is the ferret against which I measure all others.
