Just thinking about the message from someone who read in a book about the
feral ferret population.
 
Living in the suburbs, and hanging in the city, I suppose I wouldn't know
from experience, but I have *never* heard anything from anywhere about
ferrets.  Rabbits, dogs, cats, rats, but never ferrets.  In fact, I actually
thought (up till about a month or two ago) ferrets didn't even exist in NZ!
Also, many people who I've talked to have said the same thing.
 
So I'm not sure about this book, but I think it must be slightly outdated?
Because I've never heard of any problems.
