Although it is my own personal opinion that you should drop the dog food
from your ferret's diet, that opinion is based on information received from
Dr. Judi Bell, formerly of Marshall Farms.

Dr. Bell has stated many times that dog food is not adequate for ferrets.
The nutritional needs of a ferret are not satisfied with dog foods, no
matter how high-quality it is. There are essential nutrients not found in
dog foods, that are found in kitten/cat foods, and of course, ferret foods.

If your ferret is stealing a couple pieces from your dog's dish, that's
one thing, but if you are adding Eukanuba dog food to your ferret's diet,
please consider stopping. If you like Iam's products, try Iams kitten,
or feline lamb/rice.
