My little Emily's eye was red around the outside with a little scab.
Thought maybe it was a scratch. After she would wake up it took a little
while for her to get it open. After a couple of days it looked better, now
her mouth is red and swollen on the outside with some little scabs. Is it
some kind of conjunctivitis? Called the vet Saturday and he suggest Pred,
Benadryl, and cortisone cream. He said if it didn't get better by Monday
to stop meds and bring her in. We have an appointment tonight (Monday).
We don't know what it is. Has anyone experienced this before? None of the
other 9 ferrets are showing signs. She's acting normal.
