I mentioned we rescued two ferret's. Rascal was in rut and only wanted to
bite the other five ferret's neck and hold on..Rascal got neutered on Wed
about noonish. We had to keep him separate from his cagemate since he was
in rut and was hurting Pepper (cagemate).. Last night my son forgot to
Rascal in the cage and leave Pepper in my room. Was surprised there was no
fighting at all. Seems being neutered is easier then being spayed since
he has tons of spunk.. Daisy was tired the following day and rarely did
anything. So we let Rascal play 5 minutes with ours. He did Great and
only lightly nipped one of our four. He was not attacking anyone at all.
The vet said it could take a month for the hormones to go away. Happy to
say it's only been a few days and he is so different then when he was not
neutered. Thought I would share this with you. This is our first hob and
I didn't know alot about them. Thanks for all the support I did get from
the list member's.
