I travel regularly. I asked for help thru my local ferret group. I have
a fabulous critter sitter, whom I pay, and a friend who keeps my old
guy and anyone on regular meds. I give her cash if I can with meds that
might be needed (carafate, bkids enedril), food, bedding, toys, treats,
whatever. They also both have a copy of "What's Wrong With My Ferret".

My kids flourish in both situations Since you have only three,
hopefully you have a ferret friend who an take them while you are gone.
I let my vet know that I'll be going out of town & will pay for any
treatments needed when I get back. We talk in advance about possible
complications. I let them know that I understand that things that can
happen while I'm gone. We keep in touch via email & texting.

Have a great time in Finland!
