On the East Side of this beautiful Great Lakes State in Oakland County
is a community by the name of Clarkston. Clarkston has a weekly newspaper
called the CLARKSTON NEWS. At the CLARKSTON NEWS is a reporter by the name
of Jennifer Nemr. Jennifer Nemr met Great Lakes Ferret Association Vice
President Carolyn Distel one day and the two made a date for an interview
about ferrets and GLFA. The results of that interview showed up in this
week's edition of the CLARKSTON NEWS, everyone, and it turned out to be a
full page story on the front page of Section B.

Carolyn just called me to tell me and she added she was quite pleased with
the results. Nothing was taken OUT of context and if you can get your
hands on a copy, please do. I don't think the paper is on the Internet.
By the way, Carolyn's shelter, Enchanted Castle Halfway Kingdom for
Homeless Ferrets currently has 24 ferrets. You can contact Carolyn at
