I just wanted to take a few minutes to thank the shelters for all that they
do. I know at times it may not seem worth it, but the ferrets sure do
appreciate it. The rest of us on the FML appreciate it to, it is a lot of
hard work!

I have a 12 week old male, Bentley who is very afriad of loud noises (i.e.
thunder and the vacuum). HAs anyone with the same problem ever tried
behaviorial modifications like exposing him to low noises and then
progressing to loud noises? Or any other technique? I just need something
that will work. He pops his anal glands and hides for hours after I vacuum
the apartment.

...This is not ferret related, but if any one is interested in adopting a
sweet 12 week old grey tiger-striped male kitten, he is free to a good home.
I found him outside my apartment building in Blacksburg, VA. We have such a
large stray cat problem here. He is a sweety & will be neutered this week.
Just email me.
