We received a beautiful letter from Michigan Appeals Judge Richard Allen
Griffin who had tried to save Kodo's life.  Thought our friends may want
know what it said:
 
"Thank you for your kind note regarding the Kodo the Ferret case.  I deeply
regret the ultimate outcome.
 
Hopefully, the case has arisen public awareness as to the issue and to the
policy of the government health officials.  Change often comes by pain and
tragedy."
 
Michigan ferrets have a friend in Judge Griffin.  That is obvious.
