I just wanted to let everyone know that Smudgie died last Wednsday
morning. I guess Lester needed him more than I did. He is now with
Grandma Phyllis and the big yellow bus and all his friends who he
can run and play with.

Diane Wall of South Shore Ferret Care says that every ferret teaches
us a lesson. Smudge taught me several.

I learned about Cathy Ryan and what a wonderful person she is. She
worked so hard trying to help Smudgie and me.

I learned about milk thistle from Alicia at Ferretwise. She also told
me what probably happened and why Smudgie was so sick. Probably the
rabies shot caused a reaction that killed his liver.

I learned from Zoo that there are people out there who care about me,
even tho they don't know me. I learned that I have the BEST friends in
the world that love me and always have my back. When I cry they cry
and when I hurt so do they!

I want to thank everyone who sent prayers and healing thoughts our way.
I really appreciate them.

I know that out there ,there is another baby waiting to make it's way
to me. Until then I will love the other kids here extra and tell them
how many wonderful friends we have out there in the world!
