Hi ferret lovers--

The other day I killed a scorpion in a ferret friendly room, luckily both of
my guys were in the cage at the time. I live in S. Texas (San Antonio),
and scorpions are not uncommon here. My question is, how dangerous are
scorpion stings to a ferret, and if one of my guys should get stung is there
any first aid supplies that I should try? I know some people are allergic
to scorpion stings, but what about the fuzzies? Thank you for any
information.

Maria (human), Ed (ferret), and Gizmo (ferret).
