Hello fellow ferret lovers.

My name is Tony and I'm a resident of Chicago, IL. I currently reside with
two ferrets (or furryrats as I affectionately refer to them) named Maggie
and Zoe. Maggie has been with me for a little over a year. I adopted her
from a fellow owner who could no longer give her the time she deserved. She
is silver with spots of brown and approximately three years old (and very
healthy!). A 4 1/2 yr. old female sable named Zoe has been living with me
for over three years. Again, I adopted her from another owner that was
moving and had to sell his zoo. She has been wonderful and consistently
healthy to boot!

After reading the FAQ, I decided to join the ferret list to share my
experiences. I too have enjoyed ferret proofing my apartment, providing
them with luxurious accomodations (tri-level cage), and watching them
perform amazing feats that would make Houdini look like an amateur. All
this to watch them sleep ;-). Actually, they are quite active but when it's
nap time, it's nap time. There is NO denying them.

I'm considering adopting more ferrets to add to my brood. I'd appreciate
stories from people who have 4 or more ferrets. It must be positively
exciting to change the litterbox daily. Hopefully soon, I'd like to adopt a
couple more ferrets in the 1 - 2 yr. range. I haven't the time to devote
to training a kit.

Thanks and I'll dook with ya soon,
Tony, Zoe, and Maggie.
